We are looking for on-call, and weekend Class A and Class B Drivers to assist Team ’76 in meeting our fireworks delivery goals and getting our products in the hands of fireworks enthusiasts throughout the USA. Please note the home base for this position is Boonville, Missouri.

What We Are Looking For
Class A and B drivers provide a wide range of transportation services during weekends and on an as-needed (on-call) basis. Primarily, this will entail the pickup and delivery of consumer fireworks to and from our Boonville, Missouri warehouse. A driver's current availability and weekly hours of service will be considered prior to scheduling any trips. Depending on the location of the delivery, some overnights may be required. These positions are eligible for transition into full-time employment with the Company, if available.
Qualifications

At least 23 years of age

2+ years of CDL Class A or Class B experience required

Valid commercial Class A or Class B Driver’s License required

Current DOT Medical Card
-
Enrollment in the DOT Clearinghouse

Current HazMat endorsement is required, but Spirit will assist in obtaining the necessary endorsement if needed

A history of safe driving

Previous experience operating material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, etc.)

Basic computer and electronic logging device skills

Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
This is a physically demanding position

Must be able to carry, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to crouch, grasp, pull, kneel, stoop, and walk to perform certain job functions

The incumbent will be exposed to hazardous fireworks materials
